Warehouse Worker

Title: Warehouse Worker Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee, 37405 Duration: 12 Months Shift: 8:00 Am – 5:00 Pm (EST) Job Summary: You will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, picking and packing orders, and ensuring on-time deliveries Key Responsibilities: Receive & Process: Unload incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and verify contents against purchase orders. Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and deliver items for unit orders. Inventory Control: Stock inventory in designated locations and participate in inventory counts and audits. Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse machinery such as pallet jacks and delivery carts. Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to all safety protocols, keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipping, and receiving data. Requirements & Qualifications: Experience: Proven experience as a warehouse worker (1–2 years preferred). Skills: Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail. Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy objects (typically up to 50 lbs), stand for long periods, and work in varied warehouse temperatures. Technical Skills: Excel, WORD, and email. Ability to learn new computer programs. Education: High school diploma or equivalent
