Roles and Duties
- Maintain a safe workplace by adhering to all safety policies and guidelines.
- Join safety training meetings to improve your competence in handling tasks swiftly in a warehouse setting.
- Organize, transfer, and distribute products to both stores and individuals.
- Ensure the meticulous handling of goods for store shipment and guest drop-offs.
- Streamline inventory movement and proficiently manage freight within the warehouse.
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and free from any unnecessary mess.
- Arrive at work on time and ensure that tasks are executed with precision and according to the established schedule.
- Play a role in problem-solving endeavors to sustain operational enhancements.
- Illustrate a beneficial and courteous manner when working by yourself or in a group.
Requirements
- Able to frequently lift and carry merchandise weighing 35-50 lbs.
- Able to occasionally lift and carry items up to 60 lbs.
- Capacity to maintain an upright position, move about, exert pressure, pull, crouch, flex, and stretch during shifts.
- Retain a constructive and professional mindset during teamwork or individual assignments.
- Essential numerical proficiencies, such as counting, addition, and subtraction.
- Proficient in understanding and interpreting labels, tickets, and other forms of product documentation correctly.
- Independently manage computer systems or handheld devices with minimal supervision once adequately trained.
- Effective communication through speech and writing.
- Aptitude in understanding, verbally expressing, and interpreting English to heed safety guidelines, policies, and instructions.
Additional Requirements
- Proficient in receiving education and operating motorized machinery responsibly (such as Pallet Rider, Scissor Lift, Sit-Down & Stand-Up Forklift).
- Skilled in working effectively at heights up to 40 feet when the situation demands.
- Skilled in working for extended periods in temperature-regulated settings, which may include refrigeration and freezing conditions.
