Responsibilities: MedSurg RNs provide bedside care for diverse patients, conducting individualized assessments to develop tailored care plans. They prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments. The role includes preparing, administering, and documenting prescribed medications, monitoring patient responses, and initiating alternative actions when adverse symptoms occur. Additionally, they change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs as needed. Qualifications & Skills: Candidates should possess relevant nursing licensure, clinical experience in MedSurg settings, strong assessment and critical thinking abilities, and proficiency in patient care procedures and medication management.
