Project Manager - Security Integration
Location: Maryland, Washington, DC, or Northern Virginia (Hybrid)
About the Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial, federal, and enterprise security integration projects involving access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and low-voltage systems. This role offers the opportunity to manage projects from award through closeout while helping improve operational processes within a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple security integration projects from kickoff to completion
- Oversee schedules, budgets, forecasting, and project profitability
- Coordinate customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Lead project meetings, reporting, and customer communications
- Manage procurement, material deliveries, and logistics
- Review and negotiate change orders
- Support estimating, proposal development, and scope reviews
- Drive process improvements, SOP development, and operational efficiencies
- Mentor project staff and promote a customer-focused team culture
Qualifications
Required
- PMP Certification
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of project management experience
- 5+ years managing security integration or low-voltage projects
- Experience managing projects from $150K to multi-million-dollar contracts
- Strong financial, contract, and customer management skills
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the Mid-Atlantic region
Preferred
- Commercial, Federal, or regulated-industry project experience
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Experience with Procore, Smartsheet, Monday.com, Deltek, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with Genetec, LenelS2, Software House, Brivo, Eagle Eye, Avigilon, Milestone, Axis, or Hanwha solutions
