About the Role
Eye to I Learning in Columbus, OH is looking for a passionate and nurturing Nursery School Teacher to join our team! Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based curriculum for nursery-age children
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
- Monitor and support the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and daily activities
- Maintain accurate developmental records and observations for each child
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to ensure program consistency and quality
- Enforce health, safety, and sanitation protocols throughout the school day
Requirements
- Prior experience working with infants, toddlers, or nursery-age children
- Knowledge of early childhood development milestones and best practices
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, families, and staff
- Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic approach to early childhood education
- Ability to pass a background check as required by Ohio childcare regulations
