Ready to do the most meaningful electrical work of your career? At Jetson, we’re on a mission to get every home off gas, and Nashville is one of the best places in the country to make that happen. As one of our early electricians on the ground in Tennessee, you won’t just be running wire.

You’ll be helping us build the playbook being hands-on in the field at residential job sites every day, including attics, crawlspaces, and basements, working directly with our install crews. You’ll work alongside a tight-knit install team to remove gas furnaces, bring in Jetson electric heat pump systems, and collaborate directly with our engineering team to sharpen our process and push our product forward.

What You’ll Do

• Install all electrical infrastructure required to support heat pump systems, done right on every job
• Perform load calculations and design code-compliant solutions that actually work in the real world
• Upgrade main electrical panels as needed, including smart panels, splitters, and sub-panel configurations
• Pull permits and own the inspection process end-to-end across Tennessee jurisdictions
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
• Troubleshoot electrical issues on-site and perform necessary repairs with speed and precision
• Coordinate with HVAC install crews and collaborate across trade lines to keep jobs moving efficiently
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and flag issues before they become problems
• Test electrical systems for functionality, performance, and code compliance
• Spot recurring inefficiencies in the install process and bring solutions to the team
• Maintain strict compliance with NEC and local electrical codes

What You Bring

• Active Master Electrician license in any US state. Tennessee Master or CE license strongly preferred; out-of-state Masters must be willing to obtain Tennessee licensure. We’re not able to consider journeymen, apprentices, or candidates currently working toward a Master license.
• Hands-on residential electrical experience, including service upgrades, panel work, and large load additions (heat pumps, EV chargers, etc.). Commercial or industrial experience alone is not a fit for this role.
• Fluency in modern panel technology: smart panels (Span, Leviton, Schneider, etc.), splitters, and sub-panel configurations
• Ability to perform accurate load calculations using standard and optional methods
• Comfort working in older homes and navigating the surprises that come with legacy wiring
• Experience coordinating with HVAC crews or working on multi-trade jobs
• Solid troubleshooting instincts: you diagnose problems methodically and fix them cleanly
• Ability to perform physical, hands-on install work daily, including in attics, crawlspaces, and tight spaces
• Available to work in the field in the Nashville area at the start of employment (this role is not remote)
• Valid driver’s license
• Working knowledge of the OSHA Electrical Standard and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
• Prior experience with heat pump or HVAC-related electrical installs (preferred)
• Experience on gas-to-electric conversion projects (preferred)
• Actively staying current on electrification codes and equipment trends (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $46 - $51 per hour + $1000 monthly stipend for license holder

• This is a permanent, full-time employment role that includes a $1,000 monthly license holder stipend.
