Superior Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Iron Workers for an immediate opportunity in Bridgeport, AL! WEEKLY PAY --- LONG TERM • PAY: $28-$32/hour (based upon experience) • HOURS: Shifts will be 8-hour workdays, 5 days per week (40+ hours/week) • SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday-Friday; 7:00am – 4:30pm • START DATE: 8/3/26 • DURATION: 1 year Job Description: We are seeking experienced Ironworkers to join our team on a large-scale data center construction project. The ideal candidate will have experience erecting structural steel, installing iron components, and working safely in a fast-paced commercial construction environment. Responsibilities • Place, fit, and install structural iron beams, columns, and steel framing. • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and engineering specifications. • Align, bolt, weld, and secure structural steel components. • Assist with steel erection using cranes, rigging, and hand and power tools. • Verify proper alignment and structural integrity during installation. • Follow OSHA regulations and all site-specific safety requirements. • Work effectively with supervisors, crane operators, and other construction trades. • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area. Qualifications • 5+ years of verifiable experience as an ironworker on commercial or industrial construction projects. • Data center construction experience is preferred but not required. • Ability to read construction drawings and structural plans. • Knowledge of rigging, steel erection, and fall protection requirements. • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights. • Reliable transportation and strong attendance record. • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus. Additional Requirements: • Must be eligible to work in the United States. • Must be able to pass drug screening. • Use of PPE Required: Hard hat, steel-toe boots, gloves, safety glasses, and harness.
