Scout Security is hiring dependable, professional Unarmed Security Officers for overnight assignments throughout the Denver metro area. We have openings in Mobile Patrol and Dedicated On-Site Security.

Available Positions
Mobile Patrol Security Officer | $21.50-$23.00/hour
- Drive a company patrol vehicle between assigned properties.
- Conduct property checks and walk approximately 8-10 miles per shift, including stairs and outdoor areas.
- Respond to dispatches, alarms, and client service requests.
- Identify and report safety concerns and suspicious activity.
- Complete electronic patrol and incident reports using a smartphone.
Requirements: Active Denver Guard Card for immediate placement, valid driver's license, and clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
Dedicated / On-Site Security Officer | $20.00-$22.00/hour
- Protect assigned residential communities and commercial properties.
- Conduct foot patrols and monitor property access and safety.
- Provide professional, customer-service-focused assistance to residents, guests, and clients.
- Respond to incidents, use appropriate de-escalation techniques, and document concerns.
- Follow site instructions and communicate with supervisors.
Requirements: Active Denver Guard Card for immediate placement in positions requiring a license. Physical duties vary by assignment and may include walking 5-8 miles per shift, stairs, and outdoor patrols at patrol-focused sites.
Schedule & Availability
- Overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Full-time and part-time opportunities, depending on assignment.
- Example shifts include 7:00 PM-5:30 AM and 9:00 PM-5:00 AM.
Reliable attendance, punctuality, and consistent availability are essential.
What We're Looking For
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Good judgment, situational awareness, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and use a smartphone for reporting.
- Willingness to complete training, accept coaching, and follow procedures.
- Ability to perform the physical duties of the assigned position.
Previous experience in security, hospitality, customer service, military service, property management, or a related field is helpful.
Hiring Requirements
Applicants must meet applicable licensing requirements for their assigned position and complete required training.
Job-related assessment tests are required as part of the screening and hiring process. Pre-employment drug screening and random drug testing may also be required as a condition of employment.
Mobile patrol applicants must have a valid driver's license and clean MVR.
