Duties
- Safely operate heavy-duty Roll-Off Trucks with automatic transmission
- Load and unload waste containers using mechanical knowledge of truck mechanisms and attachments.
- Drive through designated routes delivering and collecting waste or recyclable materials while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections of trucks before and after shifts to ensure mechanical integrity and report any issues promptly.
- Use load securing techniques to prevent spillage or accidents during transit.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to container handling using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance activities for compliance purposes.
Experience
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) (Class B) with appropriate endorsements for heavy-duty truck operation.
- Proven experience driving Roll-Off Trucks
- Mechanical knowledge of truck systems including hydraulic mechanisms.
- Experience with load & unload procedures involving large containers or materials.
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to heavy lifting, vehicle inspections, and road safety regulations.
- Commercial Roll-Off driver experience preferred, demonstrating reliability in timely pickups and drop-offs.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
